Hey guys just want to give you a short intro on myself, have been a member on the old ecstsy board but was not a very active user. i m from germany but working and living in the middle east since a few years. own my e since the year 2000. bought the car from the first owner, but that guy is/was a owner of a big construction company so the car had some issues with the paint from all the visits on construction sites and required a complete paint job. i know the car since 96 when i started my aprenticeship as a technician in the local mb dealership...the first owner installed brabus monoblock II wheels, 250km/h delimit kit, brabus muffler and a modified Evo II wing (that was the first i have removed and sold, bought a new US trunk lid for that money (wouldn't do that again, would go for a standard lid instead, but hey we've been all young and in early 2000s it was very trendy to have US license plate stuff in the car scene, in germany at least....)
in 2000 the owner ordered a w215 and sold his e.
also did some upgrades on the interior (leather/ alcantara dashboard, center console and rear shelf, APS 30 Navigtion, Brabus lether/burlwood steeringwheel, G400 CDI (leather/burlwood )selector lever with the V8 emblem a.s.o.), further overhauled engine and gearbox, rear axle, brakes to clk63 (W209).
Only one problem, didn't drove the car since 2007, what a shame.
Have some other cars too, like a Evo I with '89 style dtm slide throttle system, Evo II and a W123 which undergoes a total rebuild with M117 engine.
this was taken before i stored her away:

bought her with the ugly brabus monoblock II

the screamers

when installed back engine and tranny after overhaul:

did also some porting, polished combustion chambers, installed lighter tappets...
rear axle overhaul, powdercoated subframe, new control arms...

chopped off the ugly brabus tail pipes, turned the cut and shortened pieces 90 degree and welded them back

small things like polished frames of rear view mirrors

or polished roller blind struts

selector leaver

brabus speedo (ugly)

steering wheel

W123 in progress

but engine fits already

sleeping like snow white since over 5 years:

In the very end of this post I attached a photo of the car when it had once the original 8x16 hole rims on
