I own several classic cars and ones that are very sentimental to me that i will never sell them anytime soon. As of today i was offered an amazing opportunity to purchase a 1996 Ferrari 355 Spyder from a local estate for well below market value. The car has only 4800 miles and is as new showroom condition. i have wanted this car just as bad or even more than a 500E since new.

i absolutely love my 500E i have poured a ton into new parts because i am so anal but i refuse to park it outside as all of my cars are garaged. I am jot using a car cover as in my neighborhood the neighbors bitch about that. I just do not have anymore garage space indoors. My daily cars are leased so they stay outside . The estate deal on this Ferrari may be pending for another two weeks and wanted to know what may be the best way to market my car.

il add some photos and all details when i get time this weekend.

i just took a great drive with the 500e and im really upset and torn over this because it isnt a financial bind it is a space issue

I'm sorry for being blunt, but if the only reason for selling your 500E is because it can't sit inside, I think you're doing it wrong. I can fully imagine the dream to own a nice Ferrari, but it's so completely different than a E500E that you'll drive it on different occasions.

That said, I'm looking forward to seeing some photo's of your well cared-for machine!

I'd see if you can rent space somewhere to store a few of your infrequently-driven vehicles. Problem solved.

Otherwise, you'll need to update this thread with the car's details, VIN, photos, price, etc...

Im more or less worried in winter months leaving it out, sap from trees etc i am super anal with my cars thats just me i actually baby my 500E more than all of my new AMGs. Just a pure car nut

there is a municipal indoor garage for $700 a month and i know if the car isnt in my residence il simply never use it. Total waste of cash also if you ask me. I also have a fairly strict policy on all my cars including the 500E with Hagerty and it has to be garaged at my residence since i had a very big claim two years back where i left a car at a friends beach house that got flooded. They almost dropped me

il update this with more details soon enough. I honestly have a feeling i am going to regret selling the 500 because i doubt il find another as good as mine in the future if my life dictates another 500 E purchase.

No shame or regret needed. The 355s are one of my favorite Ferrari cabs...good choice IMO. It will inevitably be worth something down the road too.

Yeah, $700 a month to store anything is crazy.

When I lived in NYC I kept my two Mercs in the cheapest garage I could find, down by the water 23rd & 1st. I think it was $300 a month or so. I had my old Rover on the street & just drove it down & collected whichever of the two cars I wanted. It was great because it wasn't valet parking, I parked myself, and so could "box in" my 500E. Concrete pillar on one side, 16V on the other.

guys if anyone has serious interest in one of the best on the market please PM me. I havent posted the car online as i emailed several business associates in Germany and Switzerland and i have a few interested parties who are trying to work out shipping and import duties on the car so it is on standby. I did actually buy the Ferrari and i should have it at my home in 4 weeks as i sent it to the dealer for a full going over and service work since it has been sitting for 8 years.
