FOR SALE Scam or real: Amg car parts

Seems scammy. Too many rare / unusual engines for sale, for example. Kinda looks like someone scraped the internet for stuff for sale, and is listing it all at one website? Not sure though.

Example - M156 engine here:

Was listed 1.5 years ago on IG here, same photos. Coincidence? Yeah... NOPE.

To clarify my previous post. There are unscrupulous sellers who find items for sale around the world, and list them for a much higher price (like, 2x-4x) targeted at a wider audience (i.e, create an IG or FB profile supposedly specializing in rare items). If someone buys from the middleman / flipper, this person then buys the item from the actual seller, and has the real seller ship directly to the buyer. Middleman pockets the profit.

An easy way to prove this is by asking for a specific detail photo (or video) of the item in question. If the seller cannot quickly / immediately provide a photo or video, there's a very high chance they don't have the item in-hand. This is different than a pure scammer who has no intention of providing any goods in exchange for whatever you pay.

Use a Google image search to check for other listings of the identical item.

I have no idea if the seller in the first post falls into either category, but it's making my Spidey sense go nuts.

Most things listed are priced at $900. The pictures are fake. Very shady website!!! If you like losing your money give them a try

Hi everyone, hope you are doing well, anybody has experience with these site?

AFAICT it's a scam site. A thread on another forum said they only take Western Union, which screams "Run away!".

Unless you can visit in person to complete the transaction, I definitely would not trust anything from that site.

Jeeze, look at some of those pictures, eastern Europe and even saw Russian plates on a background car.
Yep. If you use Google image search on any item you're interested in, most likely you'll find the identical photo from the original / real ad posted somewhere else on the internet, years ago.
