Try this when searching for something on craigslist:
http://www.crazedlist.org/index.cgi
First, it will probably prompt you with instructions if it detects your browser needs light tweaking. I'm using Firefox. You will need to do this:
1. In the address bar, type:
about:config
2. Next type "refer" in the filter to help find the following:
network.http.sendRefererHeader
3. Click on that and change the integer value from 2 to 1.
That's it, now you can search multiple cities or areas either in the US or the World. I don't think Craigslist likes this...so don't put too many areas in for the search at one time. There is a warning that pops up if you try to do too many areas at once.
I'm also going to start experimenting with some RSS feeds or tools that may be able to hold a search term too, for things like Hemmings Classifieds.
