Re: FS: 1994 E500 Azurite Blue / Black 87,000KM Japan Auction

Two more years before these can be imported to the US. Such a shame.

OMG, what a beautiful color!
I have a Nautical Blue and a Midnight Blue 1992 500E's, but this Azurite Blue is smth else.
I am sure its not polished, very well maintained color.

Awesome color ! I realize no Azurite Blue Metallic 366 500e's in the US.
But how about any W124 (300E, E320, 400E, E420) in Azurite Blue Metallic 366 in the US ??

Re: FS: 1994 E500 Azurite Blue / Black 87,000KM Japan Auction

I love the blue's on this body style. Looks so crisp...and I think the blue interior is just as pretty.

Would love a blue/blue 500 or a black/blue....does a black/blue interior exist?

Re: FS: 1994 E500 Azurite Blue / Black 87,000KM Japan Auction

Yes, although I think the 800,000 YEN price is the starting price of the auction.

This is the second time an Azurite Blue Metallic (366) 036 car has gone through the Japan auctions over the past few years, not sure if this is the same vehicle or another one.

One of fifteen produced in this colour according to our Wiki. Data card says production order so the colour may have been specially ordered. This is a European delivered car which found its way to Japan at some stage. It also has a cool wheel option (perhaps the EVO wheels were added later). Goes to auction tomorrow - wish I was in a position to make a bid.

794 from 01.01.1992 " 8,5 X 17 ET30/18 245/45, 3-PIECE (500 E = ET30, R129 = ET18)"
I was biding this car, but not so high...
I have bought couple cars from Japan, can help with bid'ing etc...

I'm not so sure about this paint, sometimes car looks good at pictures, but live wasn't so good.
I observed that japanice paint work is very avarage quality

The color is beautiful but I have to look hard to see the E500 under the paint. It almost looks like a Lincoln from the front.
