SRS light on constantly

My SRS light was on constantly after being in a transmission shop for 2 weeks. Never seen this light in 20 years of ownership. Thought this worth mentioning regarding tracking down the SRS light being on all the time. I was not sure if the light being on and this wire damage knocked out my airbags for driver and passenger but I hope not. This is my experience however I know there are several reasons for a constant light on at all times. I also checked all my codes with a blink code reader and breakout box. Always good to check but perhaps before you check all your diagnostic codes and clear them start looking under the seats 1st to make sure no wires have been eaten by rats or connectors unplugged. This is what happened when a rat got locked in the car. The shop owner called me and said your car is ready but the SRS light is constantly on now and we do not know if you were aware..........blah blah.

So my problem now and never had anything like it prior. Could not clear it off the codes either so I knew it must be serious. See below. Found chewed wires and rat poop. This is a shot from the rear left side of passenger seat shot from the back.

Codes from pin 30 (SRS module) should help you narrow the problem. Might be the rodent nibbled a related wire...
