• Hi Guest !

    Welcome to the 500Eboard forum.

Since its founding in late 2008, 500Eboard has become the leading resource on the Internet for all things related to the Mercedes-Benz 500E and E500. In recent years, we have also expanded to include the 400E and E420 models, which are directly related to the 500E/E500.

We invite you to browse and take advantage of the information and resources here on the site. If you find helpful information, please register for full membership, and you'll find even more resources available. Feel free to ask questions, and make liberal use of the "Search" function to find answers.

We hope you will become an active contributor to the community!

    Sincerely,
    500Eboard Management

**THANK YOU ALL FOR 10 GREAT YEARS OF THE 500EBOARD !! **

This is one reason why I have such large and generous rules for size of attachments, unlike many if not most forums out there. This site has around 100 GB of stored images and files (attachments). This does not include the thumbnails of these images, nor the forum files themselves (all of which totals around 25-30 GB).

ALL of this data is backed up daily, and the 100GB of images is also mirrored to a local hard drive, and backed up locally on an hourly basis.

Every week, an additional 300-600MB of images and PDFs get added to this total.

MAW, I also had acquired my 1st 500E not too long before Ecstacy went down. The seller pointed me there. I didn't know much about the cars and bought it on the premise that I would learn. I learned way more than enough to own and maintain them right here.

So glad you decided to take things over, Gerry.

In case you are interested, Groupbuilder.com is owned by VerticalScope, which is a forum owner and operator of more than 1,200 forums, I believe including Banzworld and many others.

Groupbuilder is an advertising company that buys forums so that they can insert and display ads on behalf of their advertisers. The goal is eyeballs and clicks on ads, not to keep a forum running and its users happy.

More, for your reading enjoyment:
