Looks great but I’d prefer the air especially living in the south or in SoCal where it hits 100 degrees a lot.

Nice concept but I wouldn't want one in any of my w124s. A little wacky and when the grill is closed I'm sure will look out of place.

The cup holder which resides within the centre console does look very interesting FOR SALE - New cup holder design for the W124 | Parts for Sale

Mercedes really did have terrible cup holder design for a long time including the 140 and 220 S classes which are also basically none existent.

Best I can tell, the Germans decided it was not wise to drink and drive, especially at the 250kph vMax of the 500E... therefore, cup holders were unnecessary and superfluous.

My S600 has a fridge and massaging seats from factory as examples and I cannot place one single regular size coffee cup anywhere in the car! It's kind of hilarious how bad it is really. I need to buy one of those pop out w220 cup holders.

W124s were very similar of course. No actual cup holder provision from MB. If I had my 500E sorted with one the in cubby box holders I'd be happy. The other 124s can do without!

Lol...I can give you a cheap work around, takes around 20 minutes if you have a glove box, 30 if you have an airbag.
Thanks but I have a replacement vent in my parts stash (almost too small to be considered a stash).
I just need to find the time to install it.

I admire the design creativity of the 3D holder, but after almost a decade of proven use, I believe the Ultimate Cupholder is still the best option for our cars
I have them too bought after recommendations here, and they are great. And they’re easy to remove if not needed.

Regarding these ones here I’m not sure I’d want to replace the centre vents, but otherwise it’s seems to be a neat solution!
