Hoping that someone has one of those lying around, as I urgently need one

Is that for your 036? My cap no. on my 92 model is 123 869 0172. I have a spare one of these. I seem to remember Gerry posting all the parts still available thru MB.

Sorry, should have clarified - it's not the actual cap, but the sleeve around it (see attached picture). The discolored one is the old, correct shape and the new one is the incorrect shape that I was sent by CARID despite the fact that they advertise with a picture of the correct part.

Bunch of places (Pelican Parts, MB) outright canceled the order on me for that PN....

126-869-06-08 is not the screw-on lid, it's the snap-on cover to the reservoir which accepts the screw-on lid. Photo below. Pretty sure it's NLA but the W210 version is similar enough that I think it will work, or at least Gerry posted photos indicating it should? MBCC is showing temp NLA but that usually means it's not coming back.

123-869-01-72 is the screw-on lid, but I'm not sure if that is NLA or not...

yeah, I edited my post to show what part I mean and you're right, that thing shows NLA. Car is still at Steve Geyer's shop and he can't really put the tank back on without this part, so I was hoping someone might have one lying around so I don't have to have the brand new washer tank installed only to then redo it once I get a new cover.

Can one of the @xfadmin please change the title of the post to "washer tank snap-on cover 126 869 06 08?

See post #49 at the link below. That may be a stop-gap solution until you can locate a NOS cap (for ±€5k). :ROFLMAO:

Thank you @gsxr! After your initial post I found Gerry's thread and have ordered three of those caps. In the meantime I will see if it can find the original part before the Steve wraps up working on my car.......it's so silly, it's a $4 part and totally throwing a spanner in the works
