¿where exactly the EZL ignition module vacuum hose connects M119?

Hi, I have a 1994 Mercedes E420 with the M119 4.2L V8. Can someone please confirm where exactly the EZL ignition module vacuum hose connects on the intake manifold? Mine is currently disconnected. Thanks!

In the back of the intake manifold there is a nipple.

While playing with my smoke machine last night I discovered a vacuum leak in the front portion of the intake manifold but I was unable to pinpoint the exact location. I tried using a mirror to see under the runners and towards the front but no luck. I hadn't looked at the attached diagram before I closed it up for the night but it looks like it could be the line coming from the electric change-over valve behind the right headlight (#92). I may have to remove the MAF and possibly the ETA to gain access to that area because it doesn't look like it is accessible from the front. All the smoke...

At the engine, the tube connects to the port at the rear of the intake, on the lower portion. It is difficult to access.

Any ideas on how to access this connector? Where can I trace the vacuum line to see if I can connect it somewhere in between? What other workaround would be viable?

Remove the MAF to get access to the back of the intake manifold. Normal routing of the vacuum tube is below the driver side distributor cap, then upwards and through the narrow space between the block and intake manifold.

It should follow the same path as the 8mm black tube in the photo below.

I just installed the vacuum hose from the intake manifold to the EZL. Wish me luck — I’ll test it tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your tips!
