Little rectagular sticker with milage on it in the drivers door jam what does it mean??

Little pinkish sticker with a millage # stuck on the front edge of the inside door jam in the drivers side front. What is it?? Looks like something from the dealer so what is this and what does it mean??
 
I would speculate if its a dealer item that perhaps it signifies either A) the last date of service for the airbags or B) an oil change. Hard to say without a photo.

Those are maintenance interval reminder stickers. Those stickers are pulled out of the small rectangular maintenance record booklet. The one with the oil can on it indicates the mileage at which the next factory oil change interval is due. The ones with the wrench on them indicate when the next factory interval maintenance service is due. Note that oil changes are included in every maintenance service. If you happen to see the two versions of the stickers together you will notice that the wrench stickers are on the 15,000 mile intervals and the oil can stickers are on the 7500 mile intervals.
 
The service manual booklet (where the dealer/indy shop would "stamp" the book and mark the mileage where various maintenance tasks were accomplished) as part of the owner's manual pack, had a stapled-in page with a plethora of mileage stickers at various mileages (IIRC 7,500, 15,000 and 30,000 mile intervals).

When a lubrication or maintenance service was performed, the technician or service manager would remove the next interval sticker and place it in the driver's door jamb as a reminder to the owner/operator as to when the next time to bring the car in for service was.

These can be removed with no problem, or if you have the owner's manuals you can bring it up to the current/next service interval as a reminder to yourself.

It looks exactly like one of those stickers in the photo of the book you posted. So are those telling me when the NEXT service was due or at what mileage it was done?
 
You put the NEXT service mileage sticker on the door jamb as a reminder, NOT the "current" mileage.

So, if your car has 90K on it and you just did a major "C" maintenance service on it at that interval, then you would put the 99,000 mile sticker on the door jamb. I thought these used to be every 7,500 miles though ... interesting.

That was in the ECE only, doolar. Here in the US, the interval didn't get extended until our model year '98 when the maintenance counter / calculator systems were introduced.
 
The pink sticker on the door jam reads 52500 miles. So that was likely stuck there the last time it went to the stealer for service. However they used a quick oil chain here I used to work for from that point so I can pull all the service records from there to see what has or has not been done. Last time it was serviced was at 94K just under a year ago and the car only had 95K on it when I got it. Pretty consistent service history for the cars entire life and it is documented as close in a year to year real world history to a 5K a year average from when it was bought new until just before I bought it. Low enough use to keep the miles down below 100K but enough use to keep things moving and so far other than the tires I have yet to find any dry rot in any of the rubber on this car anywhere. Had to have been ether the wife's car or a weekend cruiser all it's life till now ;).
