MB now has an online parts catalog that details pricing and availability for parts for classic models.

This is a complementary reference for the ISPPI / EPC.

Here's a sample page, that details the exhaust component availability for the E500E:

For someone who has no live inventory/vin based parts catalog - this works really well as a baseline for the parts search, me likes!
It is a bit more informative than the old "enter the part number" lookup.

That said, the old "availability" lookup site is still available, here: meta_title

The new site looks very very very suspiciously like the "Rev Parts" online dealer catalogs, though.......

Yes - I believe the new site is leveraging the RevParts database. It may show >95% the same information as any RevParts dealer. Individual dealers have the ability to flag some parts as 'not for sale', if they don't want to sell them (batteries, windshields, hazmat fluids) which is why there may be some difference between dealers/websites.

I don't see that you've purchased a Dry Ice machine in the "favorite tools" thread. Or are you pulling a @JC220 and holding out on us? If you do have a Dry Ice machine....81-page white paper, please !!

Yeah! I’m hoping that once @iamdetailing figures out his fueling issues, he will give us all the scoop on non-URO branded dry ice machines / process. An 81-page white paper on one’s automotive technical topic of choice seems to be, these days, the default “entry requirement” of the 500Eboard. 🤣. Indeed, @robm.UK has set a very high bar. 💪

I wonder if Lemf makes dry ice machines? 2017 German production? :sawzall:

I still believe that using the ISPPI and/or EPC, in conjunction with tapping the individual part numbers into the "old" classic parts site, is the best way to go for availability. Then, if available, tapping the part numbers into the various dealer online RevParts sites to get the best prices.

I placed a $400 order to MB Annapolis for my remaining C126 front suspension components yesterday (the brake support rod bushings, and two of the "dogbone" round rubber bushings). Here is the comparison of the MB Annapolis RevParts prices for the brake support rod bushings, and the "new" MB Classic Parts RevParts prices, for these.

Need to watch out too, on the MBUSA Classic Parts site ..... California Prop 65..... cancer & reproductive harm warning. Perhaps from Harbor Freight rubber used in the MB part?

It just could be that Turks are trying harder than modern Germans. American Hiltons and Sheratons tend to be drab and dilapidated against their Turkish counterparts. What if today's Turkish Lemforder is the new West German Lemforder?

The 81 page report has now been updated to a comprehensive single point of call covering all aspects of M119 ignition mods. It is now a mighty 82 pages and has the following essential full spread diagram on p82
