I was heading north on PCH after picking up my surfboards from the parental units' house when around Fashion Island, I spied a 500e going the same way, so I caught up to it. Was dark, and couldn't tell if it was silver or beige. Tinted, I couldn't see in. I waved and thumbs up, but no response. He ended up behind me for a bit before exiting to newport blvd a few miles later. He must not have thought anything odd about a 199 e500 holding up a pair of longboards on its roof..
