Whose 500E did I see at Bellevue detailing shop?

Looks like some serious detailing work being done. I would like to know where you got the rims done....
Thanks

I saw a 199 500e in Kirkland a few months ago being hauled up onto a tow truck :?. It had aftermarket wheels but I can’t remember which. Only other that I’ve seen is a high mileage 040 car. There were a few at the show and shine last year too... a smoke silver with matching lowers and a red one that I believe belongs to 2phast.

No pics???

Robert

I thought about it but didn't take any pics in case owner wanted privacy. That's why I didn't list the name of the shop. The wheels are 8 hole factory wheels and really liked the finish on them and hence, wondering where they were done. Both of my cars can use bit TLC on the wheels and I am not ready to put in time and energy to sand/paint etc. yet.

Speaking of 2phast, he sent me a local seattle recommendation for wheel refinishing that I have yet to look into. Its an old reference, so they might not be around any longer, but i can forward to you if you’d like!

Sure, that would be great. Found a shop that does machining since that was the look on 1995 wheels but is bit pricey.

Storybook is already getting his new ride all gussied up. You have lots of E500E companions around Seattle. I hope we see more of you and your car on the board.

Take Care

So funny! It came off the truck 3-4 weeks ago and I've only seen it once. After the timing chains and suspension work, I'm told it drives like a "new" car. We'll see.

Joey at ESA is a magician when it comes to detailing cars. He did the oem wheels but I've a new set of Evo IIs on the way.
