The forum’s fraud prevention systems flagged your account for a number of reasons (multiple IP addresses, a lot of expensive items being offered for sale, etc) and deactivated the account. I reopened it, but at reduced privileges.

Since reducing privileges for new members (limiting PMs for example), scammers have been breaking into other established members’ accounts, and activating “sleeper” accounts that have been registered 3-5 years ago, to try to run their scams here.

Yes there is a big problem. Someone hacked into my account and is sending unauthorized messages in an attempt to scam people!!!

Yes, all previous forum spammers and scammers have been pardoned. Their bans have been commuted, and their accounts have been freed.

Your nightmare is over, and you have regained control of your account.

No real harm was done, and the scammer was crippled almost immediately. He could have done much more damage, if individuals here on this forum had not been so vigilant. Several people contributed to this situation.

After he was neutered, @The Emperor took care of him for good.

I am happy that no one fell for their scam. These people are heartless and deserve jail time for it.
