Hinges on how you want to handle this, but I'd recommend just finding a parts car 400E420. You can find these easily enough for $600-$2000 depending on region and condition. Take what you need off the car for spares, then sell off the shell / remains once you are done with it.

Seller's description
Selling my 1994 Mercedes e420. The car is in fair condition. Motor is newer than the body, with about 80.000 miles on it. The front windshield is cracked, the driver window doesn't roll down, and the check engine light is on due to a misfire. Most likely a spark plug, I just don't have the time to fix it with how much I work. Selling because I bought a new car and don't need this one anymore. Clean title, fully loaded with sunroof, leather heated seats, cruise control. The car will come with studded snow tires. Body has 211,000 miles on it. Engine a little over 80,000. I don't have the paperwork from the motor swap, but it was done by Mercedes Benz in Portland, Oregon. I prefer email or text, as I work a lot and most likely will not be able to answer a phone call right away, but if that is your most convenient way to contact me feel free to leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
