Ahh, OK then as I sort of suspected, I was wrong. Robert, thanks for the correction on 500E Euro headlight availability.
I was a bit confused. I think that the E500 Euro lights are available as are the Euro lenses for them (as a separate item).

The lenses arrived in perfect shape. The box which was undamaged spent a little time in the garage unopened. I forgot to thank you for packing them so well.
I'm expecting my E500 headlights this week and will use the same boxes to send you the E500 lenses.

Pre-facelift Euro lamps for 124.036 have been NLA for months. I know, I've been trying to get a set. Even a reliable contact that I have at Hella says there are none. I massively want a set and will pay$, but so far I've got nothing. I do have lenses (Thanks GVZ!), so I can go to a plan B if required, but I'm flaming pissed about this...

i can't stand looking at my beautiful car with the standard euro headlights.
what would the total cost be by performing this E500 to pre-facelift headlight?
Is it worth buying the right side, which is still available, and doing the conversion on the left side, which is NLA?

If you do the conversion, you end up with lenses left over. IMO, you'll have an easier time selling a pair of new E500 lenses than you would trying to sell only one.
Can't help much with pricing, since you are in Canada you might be able to order them directly. If buying from Speed-Autoteile in Germany, rough estimate is somewhere around €1000 EUR for E500 lights, 500E lenses, and shipping. After you sell the leftover lenses your total cost should be somewhere under $1k USD/CAD.
