WANTED WTB 500E

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a 500E but It will be my DD. I do not mind if it has high mileage as long as it was taken cared of. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Although I have a limited budget of around $6K. Any help in locating one would be appreciated.

Hi Mario, you should have no problem finding one down there. Not many up here in Canada. For 6k, you will more than likely find one in need of repair, unless you score one that has had the major issues addressed, such as wiring harness issues, throtttle actuator, timing chains, guides, rear shocks leaking or worn out, bushings ,etc... However, don't be afraid of mileage as I bought my 92 with 120k's and had no prior knowledge of said issues. You will not be disappointed. The driving experience is incredible, considering how old they are getting. Good luck and look for a comprehensive service history for that price.
