FOR SALE Zauber AMG Aero I replicas (MD)

Hey guys -

So, I got a bit ahead of my skis this weekend and ended up getting mildly scammed on a set of very cool wheels. These are Zauber Aero 1 replicas, which as far as I can tell, were fairly sought after back in the day. Made by a company called Arrow Enterprises.

Anyway, I asked the seller to triple check measurements on these as I was not able to be present for an in-person transaction; my brother-in-law, who is recovering from surgery, agreed to let the seller drop the wheels at his house as he was about 2 hours closer to than I was. I paid my brother B-I-L who handed the seller cash.

Upon getting them home, it was readily apparent the seller measured from the edges of the wheel and not the face of the wheel to provide dimensions. He's either a scam artist or a dumbass or likely both. The wheels were advertised as 5x114.3, 17x8, and 17x9. They are very clearly 16x8 (rear) and 16x7 (front). I have little reason to doubt the bolt pattern and intended to use wobble bolts for the time being after they were refinished.

Figured I'd put them out here and see if anyone is interested in using these for a 400E/300E/etc as they are not what I'm looking for on my 500E. Asking $500 + shipping to get back what I have in them. I do have all of the original Zauber center caps.

Thanks,

Jeff
