Fenders $3400
Cladding $1200
Indicator Lamps $800
Have fun selling it.
These are EURO fenders, lamps and Cladding. So yeah Have fun finding all three items.
Aren't those fender indicators way overpriced?
You haven't posted any pics of them but I assume they are used, not new. So please explain why yours are worth 235 times more than a nice set on eBay:

I am justifying my price because my sets (2 amber and 2 clears) pairs. One new in MB box and one in mint condition and they are genuine MB OEM not an aftermarket only one left side on eBay.. so if that's your style with aftermarket then go ahead by all means :)

I agree, They are definetly way overpriced.Doesnt matter if they are OE and spotless. :)
Besides MB OEM they are NOT available anywhere and I paid $200 for each side. Below is an example of when one side was available on eBay over 2 years ago with a price of $150 each.

These are almost impossible to find and I paid good money for them. I don't want to lose my money.

I understand that.It is not " critisism"..its just an " obeservation" of a price on a part that " should not be that expensive".I also think "impossible to find" is a bit of an overstatement....And to be fair,,yes im a " OE geek"...but some exteriour lamps ,i would rather go non genuine, than paying an arm and a leg for a genuine part. But thats just me selecting what is important beeing OE ,,and what is not. That said,,you have a lot of cool parts for sale ,i have to say :)

When I am having to find myself defending why my price is valid and feeling forced to provide screenshots of what the prices are for such items then your so called "observation" becomes an argument and turns into a harassment. All of this is really unwarranted and not friendly behavior. If you or anyone else doesn't like any pricing they see then you just need to move on. No one is forcing you or anyone else to buy anything from me. All of this is really unnecessary and I don't need this aggravation. If you can buy what I have somewhere else cheaper then please by all means. I really don't want to get into it with you or your other buddy there.

Supply and demand. I 100% agree that you can price it the way you want to and only time will tell if the market is willing to bear that price- everything else is just opinions. In any case, best of luck with the sale!

Thank you Tim. Yes spot on and well said by you. I really appreciate support from members like you here. its my prerogative to price my items and I shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable in having to prove what I paid for them and in defending my position to those two from Norway or anyone else from anywhere for that matter.

Harassment ?Not friendly behavior? Give me a break man. No one is harassing you or making you defend anything. So if thats what you took out of this comment, im sorry for that at least. What came out of it though..was that we got to see the parts you are advertising..but did not have pictures of in the first place. Eitherway..im out.Have a good day still

I bought a pair of the side repeater lamps new a few years back from a main dealer in the UK
I wanted them for my SEC but they did have a A124 part number
I wont go into the price but I wanted some recently for my C140 and they were NLA
I bought aftermarket but they bulb did not fit into the light correctly I had to grind out
the plastic and wedge it in
I dont know what the supply situation is in the US or if they were even fitted but if you
get the chance it may be worth putting a set of used or NOS lamps into stock
The lenses are easy to polish back up but the foam gasket can be tatty and the mounting
clip can break
Edit I bought amber but I think it was clear I could not get this was lamp only not lamp and
harness, might be worth trying to order just to clear things up

It is -- and has been -- very rare when posts from this forum are deleted by moderators.

The commentary in this, and other, thread(s) is in accordance with forum policy as to transparency, and members questioning prices, and expressing their opinions about whatever is offered by anyone here for sale. This type of discussion has been a staple of this forum since its inception, and will continue to be.

When posts begin to get more personal, and direct insults (and worse) are made, is the only time when posts are deleted.

Transparency has also always been a key tenet of this forum. Members here, with management's approval, do not take well when information is withheld, obfuscated, or otherwise "invented" when it comes to cars and parts listed here for sale. The fact that the seller here says he is limiting information to serious buyers, can be considered by some here as a "red flag" -- whether it is, or not.

No seller is obligated to disclose what they paid for any part, or car, they are re-selling. People can certainly ask, but there is no obligation. In the case of auction / sold cars, often this information is public on the auction sites, or on auctions/sale cars that are actively tracked here, so this is often a moot point. However for cars/parts privately purchased, no seller is under ANY obligation to disclose what they paid for it, or how they acquired it.

All this said, any seller here 100% has the right to price any car or part at whatever price point they want to. If the price is egregiously high, then folks will probably call it out, either overtly or implicitly. But anyone is free to ask whatever they want to, and/or whatever they think the market will bear.

In closing -- if folks can't stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen. There are other .036-specific venues for selling, such as the Facebook 500E group, and other MB forums (PeachParts has a 500E/E500-specific sub-forum). No one in management here is forcing anyone to be here, or do anything for that matter.
