Hello all,

I guess the love of a big V8 M119 engine is still in demand!

I saw low mileage W210 E55 mint condition cars sell for $25 to 30k range.

I am very delightfully surprised to see this E50 go for this much!

One of the commenters stated that this person is privately reselling the car for about $125k USD range!

Its nice to see LOVE for a W210!

The top 2 bidders really wanted this badly, which inflated the sale price. Bidders #3/4/5 generally indicate a more realistic market value, IMO. Also interesting, there were only 4 bidders total. It does look like a very nice car though, and was probably worth it.

$52,500 bid placed by Trend
$52,000 bid placed by PlaneJunk
$37,500 bid placed by B613P
$33,000 bid placed by Lugesq

Multiple comments by B613P were flagged/deleted... would have liked to see what those were. Ditto for Saab. The $125k flip is likely the "I don't want to sell it" price. Nobody is going to pay that anytime this decade. Maybe next.

good analysis. @gsxr

I actually think 40s is a good fair price range for a mint low mileage E50. Though going to 50s isnt too far off and to a passionate collector still totally good price range.

fun times for this car!
