hello friends.

i was referred to a garage kept 80k km on the odometer silver in black year 1996 E50 AMG.
no rust. looks like a collectable car.

asking selling price $15k USD. probably another $1k or so to import to South Florida. 2.5% tax. and other small registration fees.

a fair reasonable deal? im not looking to low ball anyone. I always believe in mutually satisfied transactions.

thanks for any feedback.

For 15k USD and 80k KM I would even say that's more than reasonable and definitely something to consider purchasing assuming there aren't any surprises.
What Jeff said, also curious on options and even wood trim. The E50s can be well optioned.

$15K seems reasonable to me assuming the car is complete and in good working order. Curious about what options the car has or does not have.

Thanks Jeff. Im about to get the vin number and run it. Also, it has parktronic sensors which already signifies that its well optioned.
I also think $15k is reasonable if truly clean, no rust and full service records. I was told by my friend the seller is one of these Asian rich guys with like 50 cars and he is looking to get rid of many cars.

Its nice to not 'haggle' pricing and its a transaction where buyer and seller become 'car lover' friends after such a transaction! It has happened to me both times. I am good friends with the seller of the '95 C36 to me. Also the seller of the 1994 E500 has also become a cool hang out buddy of him too! :)

Hello and thanks. Yes! $15k asking price seems reasonable to me too. assuming all checks out, its nice to not haggle and just go with an asking price. you make new car lover friends this way too! happened to me on both my benz car purchases so far!

This is what I was thinking... eerily cheap, actually.

maw
C36 now in Japan is well over $20k USD.
no way can a C36 get that in the USA or Europe. different countries different market values.
