Do you still make strangers say "Scheveningen" to determine if they are German spies?
I spent a summer in Den Haag, taking courses at the Hague Academy of International Law in 2001. I spent many days at the beach in Scheveningen. I wish I could repeat those six weeks, it was a blast. I also still get a chuckle when I think of the names of the two main downtown streets in the Hague.

It's not racetrack, when you leave the bumps it will be.

Yes it stays a difficult word "Scheveningen´ not only for Germans, and yes a great city to live in my house is 100 yards from the beach.

I understand why, scenic areas always have speed regulation (bumps,cameras).
Our residential areas are the worst you can ever drive in, everyone makes a speed bump in front of his house so people would slow down...to look at his house!!
Yes if you are/know some in the right place, as stupid as it sounds many people do it (including relatives)
Everyone with even half a brain would know speed bumps are useless in reducing accident, they even cause some of them. The real stupid drivers drive SUVs and Pickup trucks so they race on speed bumps. But people with small car/sports cars really suffer.

Holland is generally not a car friendly country. Beautiful sites, but no idea how to put lines on the road, how to make turns, how to make speedbumps.... Ill soon make a video about entrance in one flowers shop, you ll not believe it
