Futura rims stolen last night :-(

Some low-life's forced open the overhead door to our parkade last night and made off with all six of my OZ Futura rims and mounted tires; 4x 8.5x17 and 2x 10x17. One of our security cameras points at my car and I watched it all happen on videotape this morning! Insurances is for replacement value but the deductible is $1k and 17" OZ replacements are NLA. I posted a lost/found ad on Kijiji but not holding out much hope...
 
Damn, that sucks Dean...very sorry to hear. I hope you are able to recover them...or find the low-life's and extract justice!
 
I'm sorry to hear that, Dean. It's a rare enough wheel that the thief will have a hard time selling them publicly without one of us noticing. There is a set of 18s, 5x112, same widths I believe on Ebay currently. They have been listed for a while.

Horrible; I DREAM about someday being dealt a get-out-of-jail-free card by catching sociopaths like that in the act. Anyway you can post the video/pics so we can keep an eye out?
 
Sounds like someone knew what you had in the parkade, or seen you with the wheels. I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone living close to you Dean. I hope you can recover the wheels/tires and kick the asswipe's ass.
 
It turns out the pricks first came through last Sunday and did a recce, then returned last night with a vehicle. We have it all on tape, and now the cops do too. Here are some screen-grabs from Sunday, when we got a good view of their faces, and last night with the vehicle with my wheels in the back seat. Unfortunately, we already know the plate is stolen. They also pilfered change and small stuff from unlocked vehicles.

Oh man that is GREAT stuff, you really were prepared. I have no doubt these pics just upped your chances at recovery/prosecution/immolation by 1000%!! Get them posted on as many boards as you can (maybe in classifieds with a "reward" subject line?). BTW is that a TOYOTA the retards are driving? OY, poor wheels have been soiled......... :-)

That just sucks. Sorry for your loss and I hope the they get caught.
 
Very sorry about this unfortunate event Dean. I will keep my eyes open and would let you know if your wheels come for sale on the most popular online classifieds. Let's hope that justice is done to these worthless idiots...

Yeah, right? These losers wouldn't even be able to run away without tripping over their sagging jeans. You'd think members of the "midnight auto supply" would at least prepare for the unexpected barrage of lead they might face...
 
Don't forget to check on 'Wheel Whores' too...pretty sure the clowns will try to sell them. There will be no hiding for these punks.

OK, one guy was bagged driving the car today! The other was been ID'd so they are looking. No word on the wheels yet...
 
Awesome news! Did you have contact with them at all while they were scoping the place out? It takes a pretty shitty individual to look a person in the eye, see what a hard worker they are, and still decide to rip them off.

Awesome news, congrats!! Transport them here to AZ. I have a 200' deep abandoned mineshaft in my backyard with their name written on it.... :-)

Hahaha!! Sheriff Joe runs his chain gangs up by me, always nice to see those guys/gals paying their debt to society. I've asked him a few times to loan them to me, but unfortunately he has to be humane....... :-)
