400E 1,5A drain on fuse 9

Hi guys

Another issue that I have come across is that my battery drained overnight. So after some investigation the drain is found to be 1,5A on fuse 9.

Disconnecting the radio, front roof light module and comfort module does not eliminate the drain.

I don't know where to find diagnostic terminal 6 nor the hazard warning system. So at this point I'm kinda stuck and any help/suggestion is welcome.

Kind regards
Sam

P.s.: there is no conveniece relay in the fusebox/relaybox, I checked and the space for it is empty.

You'll need to poke through the schematics in the ETM (Electrical Troubleshooting Manual) and see what you might be missing. Have you disconnected the clock / instrument cluster yet?

Not yet, weird thing is the drain isn't always there. Mostly it is present after I've taken the car for a (short) drive.

One time had a drain on the cooling fan for where the 3 control boxes sits, it sits behind the box in towards the car, I found a very small amount of corrosion under the wires in the 38 pin connector, impossible to see. Some times the fan would come on for no reason.
Just a thought.

For now I just take fuse 9 out whenever I leave the car. Will check the module box cooling fan for sure. Thanks.
