• Hi Guest !

    Welcome to the 500Eboard forum.

Since its founding in late 2008, 500Eboard has become the leading resource on the Internet for all things related to the Mercedes-Benz 500E and E500. In recent years, we have also expanded to include the 400E and E420 models, which are directly related to the 500E/E500.

We invite you to browse and take advantage of the information and resources here on the site. If you find helpful information, please register for full membership, and you'll find even more resources available. Feel free to ask questions, and make liberal use of the "Search" function to find answers.

We hope you will become an active contributor to the community!

    Sincerely,

Is this possible?

Front 10,25x18 Offset30..

Rear 11x18 Offset 20

What do you think?

Send photos of other aggressive setups for MB 500E / E500 if u have!!..

Depends if you plan to drive aggressively or just idle around between Cars & Coffee events. Sizes above are pushing the limits of feasibility and sanity, and will very likely require "stretched" tires for clearance, which are never a good thing. @500AMM might have more info to share.

:duck:

I have done the following:

Brabus III started at 19x9.5 et35 but the fronts modified to 19x10 and the rears 19x10.5

BBS LM 19x10 front and 19x11 rear

I suspect you could go as wide with the 18" diameter wheels

My car still has the stretched tire setup as it had upon purchase:
18 x 10,5 ET19,5 - 235/40
18 x 11,5 ET29,0 - 265/35

I like to change this setup, either by rebuilding the MAE or replace them. Rebuilding will probably end up with 4 new lips + 4 new barrels to get it how I need it to be, even though with 5-10 mm spacers to clear the BBK brakes. A replacement may be a simpler option and 18" Neez Euro 6 or HR something is high on the list.

In case you want to buy the MAE we can figure out a price, preferably a pick up or at an agreed meet point. The wheels are 3 pcs MAE in very good condition. Tires are very old and passed beyond safety IMO, but can be rolled on of course.
