Im getting a Dodge Omni vibe from that one.

According to Mr. Bock, the ex boss of MB-Classic, it was intended to use as platform for a rally car! Together with a turbocharged 2Liter 4 cylinder and 500hp!
But then MB cancelled all rally activities, after Walter Röhrl testdrove the 500SL Rally and said it has low chances to win Monte Carlo

4 speed, no AC, black vinyl guts, crank windows, AM radio. All the torque steer anyone could ever want.
