No affiliation.

Yet another 3.4L I had seen for sale and the same story. Dealers can't get their high asking price then eventually list on auction. IIRC I remember seeing this about a year ago when I was getting ready to import my E60 from Germany. Last priced at 65.000€ in November.

Just 4 Black (040) out of the 103 990/957 300TE 3.4L

Let's just take one photo while we have the entire vehicle on a lift! It's already not looking so good just looking at the muffler.

Any idea what are the market prices of these cars?
Of course condition marks much and price is always compromise between seller and buyer..:spend:

There were two recent sales on MBM and BaT, around $60K. I've been seeing them between 60-80.000€ over the past year. I think the most expensive was 99.000 for a manual wagon.

Cool fact. Can I ask where one can see more stats like this?
I've done some VIN research for a few 210 models, E500E, and 300-24V so I came up with that.

@WDB748372, thanks for the reply. So there were 103 wagons? Didn't know that. Sorry to seek your knowledge. Is that the 3.4 or 3.2 wagons included ROW? I also saw this car for sale in Germany. The seller had a nicer black-on-black prior to this one. I thought it sold? If it went to Sweden, probably the new owner got a Mercedes quote and is flipping it. It does look tired on closer inspection paint work wise and some parts. Is photo 65, top left, is that corrosion? I am after a black-on-black 3.2 or 3.4 if anyone knows of one for sale.

Correct, 103 worldwide LHD (didn't look at RHD if any) and 3.4L based on the M104.980.

It ended up in the US and one of the recent sales I mentioned. Thread posted on this forum.

This is photo 65? Regardless of the area you're referring to, there's most likely some corrosion overall anyway. The other wagon had some as well, unsure to what extent, but it was just painted over.

Sorry! I should have had my coffee before I typed—photo 265.

Oh yes, this BAT wagon black on black. I did speak to the seller. He was a nice guy, but his responses were all too vague. Was this BAT black-on-black that the same German seller who had this tan-on-black sold prior? If so thanks for sharing that, interesting.

I think you shared some good advice on BAT on the black-on-black.

If you buy this one and you come across a black-on-black later down the road, I would love to know.

Thanks for sharing the knowledge.

This is most likely a car that I know of, when I last saw it here in Sweden it was amazing original condition. The owner loved that car. Here's a picture I took of it in Sweden in May of 2014, with @johan h s Rosenholz on Brazil 500E next to it. My E420 is visible in the shiny reflection of the 3.4 wagon:
