• Various chips, scratches, scuffs, dings, and bubbling paint around the exterior
• Broken passenger's side exterior mirror and chips on windshield
• Worn finish and curb rash on wheels; bent driver's side front wheel
• Scratches and cracks on wood interior trim
• Loose stitching on center armrest, separating headliner, stains on carpets, and peeling door sill trim
• Damaged front wheel well cladding, damaged underhood insulation, and hole and rust in spare tire well
• Some rust on trunk pinch welds and on underbody fasteners
• The seller reports that this 400E intermittently misfires and has a hard start after being driven; the seller also reports that the driver’s side valve cover is leaking, the front plastic underside panel is missing, the passenger's side edge tail light and radio do not work, the air conditioner does not blow cold, the driver's side window makes a popping sound when rolled down, and the front driver’s side wheel hub has worn threads and only 4 lugs will thread.

+1. Despite the seller's claim to the contrary, this is a running/driving project car. It needs a LOT of sorting out.

Price seemed reasonable-ish assuming the buyer was local and not tacking on $2k for transport to the opposite coast.

Agreed with the above - it was good that the seller pointed out all of the flaws and seemed straight up and honest! Somebody will have fun fixing that up.
