I called. The mileage is 95K. The Dealer says he has ALL of the paperwork and the seller is looking for the right deal so his car can go to the right home. The dealer was very helpful and willing to send more pictures. He was putting it on a lift today to get pictures of the naughty bits.

My search continues. For the money, I would rather have a rare color.

Thanks for calling, tried to update the thread title with mileage - and failed.

If it has the appropriate stack of paperwork - I will put my hands up - but I am still suspicious of mismatched tires, especially since the owner installed budget brand Cooper - its not like Continentals are $300 a corner.....

Based on the photos, this car is overpriced by about 100%. I can't imagine anyone paying more than low teens. The recent cars sold by G-Man and Orazio make this one look like a poor value.

Note that my opinion is based on the PRICE, not the car itself.

I think Gerry was hoping someone would contact the seller and see if they would provide the VIN. The seller covered the license plate as well, so we can't try to look it up from the plate either.

The wood in this car looks like piano-Black, not Walnut. The car itself looks familiar but it's difficult to find an old thread on the same car without a VIN.

I do not have access to Facebook (I do not have a Facebook, Instagram, Threads etc. account) so I am hoping someone can talk to the seller and get the VIN. It's likely this car is documented previously here on the forum, so it would be good to combine with any previous information if it exists.

New user long time lurker. Been hunting for a good drivers car for sometime. Own some Porsche GT cars and looking to add a 500 to the fleet. Anything noteable about this car? I have spoken with the owner.

I'd be a little concerned that it has barely moved in over a decade. Ask about maintenance records, and why the 3rd owner is claiming it's a 2-owner car. It's one of the most common color combinations. Price is very reasonable for the miles. All the wood was replaced or refinished from the original Burled Walnut to what looks like Piano Black, or something similar... I'd ask about that too. Definite lack of photos in the ad.

If you are local, test drive it. If not local, I'd consider flying in to view in person, rather than buy sight unseen.

Thank you. Sounds like hes done a bunch of maintenance. Hes owned it 4 years, but I see exactly what you are saying. He sent me a video. But also told me there is a mileage discrepancy on carfax, so I am going to run that.

Certainly I don't have detective capabilities (as other guys among you here do have..) but this morning I had been looking at a similar device located behind the steering wheel (left side, on the upper part of knee bolster for US market).

So my guess that might be either a radar detector, or maybe a handsfree equipment for driver's mobile phone (or iPod/mp3 player..?) - look at pic #2 (on post #1) & pic #8 (on post #10).

Would have been a gamble, if both (original) threads were for the same car (WDBEA36EXNB782678) - thanks to @e500.org for finding out right VIN here!!
