OMG. I think this wins the award for worst battery compartment, ever. Also it was in a front-end accident, the upper radiator support has been replaced. "Some rust in the undercarriage"? There are freakin' holes in the floor!!! $30k ask is ludicrous, especially when a creampuff sub-100k car from a collector just sold on BaHaT for mid-30's. I can't see this beyond mid-teens, even then... wow.

This VIN was not previously listed on the forum.

I don't understand. No salted roads on LA, it is near the sea. But somehow gets heavily rusted. Never been washed and polished? This is a mystery.

If someone can crack this. I'm curious to learn.

@Draginev - Check out the Carfax & Autocheck reports. The car spent most of its life in northeastern USA, where roads are salted in winter.

It was picked up by a dealer in LA / SoCal, but that could be the first time it's ever been to the southwest.

Aahh!!! 🙆‍♂️ this make alot of sense now. I missed that one. Thank you!

I don't even know if the car can be saved, if someone has a lot of time/resources to wield the undercarriage completely restored. Or lowering the price to use as a donor.

This is a dealer that is known to have questionable cars propped up/beautified in order to sell. I know about them from the Porsche world. A lot of tempting cars but you really have to be careful here.

Shockingly, this car is marked "sold". I'd love to know where it went and what the sale price was.

For only 10% more than the ask on this rolling parts car, this sold yesterday with far fewer miles and no rust.

:yayo:
