Pretty sure this is Gary Gaska's car. @gerryvz, do you recognize it?

Correct, it is Gary's car. I saw it a number of times around Portland when I lived there. I last saw it in November, 2007 at an MBCA club event at MBI Motors in Portland. At that time, the car had 151,296 miles on the odometer.

My database notation for the car is as follows: "Owned by MBCA member Gary Gaska of Gresham, OR. MBCA club event at MBI Motors in Nov. 2007. Believe car lower area has been painted black so it's now a totally black exterior car."

Somewhere I have some photos of the car from 2005 or 2006 at an MBCA event in Vancouver, WA. It was not in particularly great condition back when I saw it in the mid-2000s, but I think was a solid car and would make an excellent beginner 500E or driver for someone.

Interesting that the hood ornament has been removed.

Looks like Gary passed on at the end of 2020. He was a nice guy and I talked with him about the car every time I saw him/car at events. My records show that I first saw the car in late 2003, and the 2007 MBCA event was the last time I'd seen it.
