AMG and Porsche both participated in the Pharaohs and Dakar Rally with these G-Wagen models.
This was mid 80s.
AMG with the 16V 6L. Porsche with the 32V 5L from the 928 S4. The latter having 100 mm bore. Blueprint for the 32V AMG 6L?

Late 1983 however, MB already showed up with this 500 GE-K.
With 340 PS and 600 Nm from a 5L with Roots Kompressor. And even with a 7-speed auto transmission.
Note the grille. Seems to come from older MB models? Not your regular G-Type grille.

Here is the MBM ad:
1732014805634.png

Interesting car with a doumented conversion history and per the ad it is located in Quakenbrück, Germany, but it is originally a Norwegian car. The owner is/was a Norwegian premium lawyer, but it's now owned by a company called Fishy Business. :giggle:

The VIN: WDB46322817089832 doesn't show up in the Norwegian vehicle database, but I managed to decipher the reg.number on one of the receipts to BL93222 and that revealed another VIN: WDB46023117000851. The car is also a 1980, so I don't know how it could end up as a 1993 and with the updated ...463... VIN after conversion. But there is likely additional technical information which is given upon request to the Norwegian vehicle authorities.

I found a G60 M119 on a Russian MB/AMG site.
In the interior it has this "Special No. 1 Edition" badge. At first i thought it to be fake.
But i knew i had seen these before, with same layout. Here's no. 4. From a C140 7L.
I have no. 3 too.

This is my car, the frame was changed to a 460 frame upon arrival in Norway in 1997 for tax purposes. its all in the title and approved. 1980 frame.
Very common in the period to save Luxury tax.

The car has been verified from AMG , they would not issue papers before I supplied the engine numbers, which matched their records.

Yes the milage is high, but it has been very well maintained.
Extensive service history and invoices all going back 25+ years.

Car was a little short of reserve so its still available, interested parties can contact Tino Zovko if interested. info@mb-exoten.de
