I'm not in the market, unfortunately. You may want to read the forum requirements for classified ad listings at the link below:If you have any further questions or interest as a buyer.. reach out to JJL60@me.com

It was a post-delivery conversion, documented on the other thread when it was listed for sale in 2019.Looking at the thread from 2019 the car is awfulto me, and no 957 code…that is not E60…

Orthopedic seat controls are present, but no Sportline/E500E seats had ortho available. It's highly unlikely the controls do anything, but if ortho bladders were retrofitted - along with the special modifications needed to the backrest leather to separate the center from the side bolsters - it would be pretty sweet if this was functional.
Ortho was only offered on "standard" seats... never Sportline. Could be someone swapped in ortho seats into an 036, but AFAIK, none ever came from the factory with it. This car does not show any of the ortho seat codes (404, 405, 406).I have ortho seats in my 036, I actually believed that they were an OE option since it look 100% stock and they work perfectly with three different zones for the back and side bolsters. I think you corrected me ten years ago or so Dave.
But they do still work, and when I removed the seats from the car and removed the seat back to clean, the installation looks very well performed. I actually use the ortho function all the time mainly for my lower back.
Yea there's no code for it with my car and I can see that the installation while being very nicely done, is not factory. It works really well in my 036 seats though.Ortho was only offered on "standard" seats... never Sportline. I really like the ortho seats, the 1 car that I had with working ortho, I used the side bolsters the most (not the back portion).
