A very clean car indeed! Nice color combo. Too bad about that dent in the rear/trunk, nothing that "can't be fixed", very nice overall car from the pics!

Looks like a quick flip... hmmm. Pity it's a stripper with zero options, not even memory driver seat or Sound System.

Also on CL:

I always find it odd that the W124 and especially the W140 series cars didn’t have heated seats as standard. Also find it odd That limited slip wasn’t a simple clutch pack arrangement like the W126 series being standard considering the popularity of the Audi Quattro during that time. One option that was standard was the heated washer nozzles and solvent bottle that was optional on others. I miss the heated seats I had in the W126.

Only the USA-spec E500E had standard heated seats. I think the upper-level 140 (5.0L, 6.0L) had heated seats standard? Everything else had this as an extra-cost option.

Limited slip wasn't offered at all, on either 124 or 140. However, some models had optional ASD which is a clutch pack LSD with external hydraulic cylinders that could lock the clutch pack 100% (if the frictions were still good). Of course, the clutch discs are all NLA so it's difficult to rebuild a factory clutch-type LSD nowadays. MB used ASR in place of LSD on the late 124's and it works very well for street driving.

Heated washer nozzles was standard on all 124/140, IIRC. The heated washer bottle was standard on the 124 as of USA 1990 model year (aka "MOPF1", the first facelift).

Most other enthusiast car sites and auctions. Don’t get me wrong every site has a wealth of information from dedicated forum members but in general you have to be judicious and if you are not tech savvy you will be led down the wrong path. I could name sites on a PM but not in the public forum as I don’t think it’s fair to all.

Even the anodized black trim is still dark. It's definitely a well-cared for, garaged, relatively low mile car. The odo discrepancy hurts resale value for odometer buyers (forget a BaHaT flip), but if you want to drive it, this could be a sweet ride!
