Same dealer has a 12-cylinder W140 for sale, $11K. Looks a bit rough. It would cost so much to get that W140 in shape, that it's probably better to just part it out.

Looks like this car is available again 1994 mercedes-benz e-class for sale by owner - Spokane, WA - craigslist. Other than the AC issue and the snow tires during the summer, it looks like it's worth looking at as a DD. Fixing the AC of course could almost double the cost of the car. It's not too far away from me (Seattle) so I may take a look depending on what I hear back from the seller.

Looks like a pretty good deal given the current market values. I would assume 'head gaskets' replaced are actually valve cover gaskets, not cylinder head gaskets, unless there are invoices to prove otherwise. AC repair may not be that bad, unless you are paying a shop, in which case prepare to BOHICA. Minor evaporator leaks can often be cured with sealant, but if it's a slow loss of refrigerant, there's a good chance the leak is elsewhere.

Can’t tell if there’s any clear coat crazing in the smoke silver paint. Overall the car looks great. AC could be a costly problem. Hopefully an EZ Fix.
