"In January 2013 I bought the E 500 from a business friend.
From the purchase in 2013 to August 2022, the 500 was stored, or stood in an exhibition for advertising purposes.

On fine days he was also moved from time to time.
In September 2022 I decided to use the vehicle more often again.

Of course, the 500-er was brought into a roadworthy and reliable technical condition, i.e. the 500-er received a large customer service with extensive tests and preventive technical replacement of individual components.

The scope of the maintenance work can be found at the end of the text.
H-approval since August 2024 + valuation report available

Work carried out after a long stand and exhibition period:
• Engine customer service - oil change 5W-40 with oil filter
• Spark plugs new
• Ignition cables, plugs and ignition distributor renewed
• Air filter + fuel filter new
• Hose connection from servo pump to container renewed, in addition to the tank seal and oil change
• Lambda sensor renewed
• Transmission maintenance - transmission oil change, incl. Filter with recoil slide
• In addition, the transmission + transmission oil cooler flushed
• Differential oil change

Brake system:
• Brake discs and brake pads new - Mercedes quality
• Brake hoses new
• Brake fluid renewed

• General work Chassis components tested
• Rubbers on the exhaust changed
• Hardy disc checked

• Other - tires new, 235/45 YR 17 TXL Uniroyal Rain Sport 5

• HU and AU August 2026
• Appraisal & H-approval

Condition: 1- (means really mint! )
Appraisal: 85.000, -- €

From 2012 until today, a total of 3,900 km have been driven.
Since the extensive customer service work » 800 km

It’s not as much as the tires as the same width of the wheels with different offsets. :banger:
Kind of fits out the fenders pretty well, I thought the po put staggered size tires when I first saw the ad, but (imo) the square tires with that offset stagger looks pretty good for not being the best spec +18,+17 wider amg oz aero 3

Yeah, that's unusual. The lower (numerical) offset wheels on the rear help fill out the fenders better. I'd be more worried about these wheels having cracks at the lug bolt holes, rendering them unsafe for high speed use.

This is a 1992 500E, produced around July/August 1992, that received a full facelift. Looks like it was done properly with correct headlights / taillights / etc.

Oh, I realise that reading the datacard was the one way to see 'date of 1st registration' ought to be off..
Of course, Dave ..you're right once more, and by seeing that fader-switch (and presumably pre-facelift zoom tubes too) I should have gotten that right!
