No affiliation. Driver seat & steering wheel look a bit rough for 103kmi, headliner needs replacement. Otherwise looks generally OK and mostly rust-free underneath. Interesting service invoices, including $8200 at Pierres (mostly $6k for rebuilt trans from Sun Valley, and $1500 (!!) for caps & rotors!!). Another invoice mentions a bad engine harness not replaced, and a PS pipe patched that might be leaking. Hmmm.

Edit 1: The invoice doesn't specify which harness was bad, and a later invoice says the ETA harness was replaced. Still some question as to the status of the engine harness. The ETA itself may be OK for a while with "only" 103kmi and a new pigtail.

Edit 2: Hours before auction end, the seller posted a photo confirming the upper harness has a 2012 date code.

1994 Mercedes-Benz E500​

This 1994 Mercedes-Benz E500 has remained registered in Florida for over two decades. It is powered by a 5.0-liter M119 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in black Pearl Metallic over black leather upholstery. Equipment includes 16″ eight-hole alloy wheels, a power sunroof, fog lights, a self-leveling rear suspension, Automatic Slip Control, automatic climate control, a Pioneer stereo, heated power-adjustable front seats, and cruise control. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, and work performed since 2024 has included replacing the transmission, transmission cooler hoses, transmission mount, flex disc, and distributor cap and rotor. This W124 E500 is offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.​

The E500 was designed and produced in collaboration with Porsche, with final assembly completed by Porsche in Stuttgart. This example is finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) and features gray lower cladding, headlight wipers, integrated fog lights, a retractable antenna, and a power sunroof. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.​

The 16″ eight-hole alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car is equipped with Automatic Slip Control (ASR) as well as a self-leveling rear suspension. The E500 featured a wider track and lower ride height when compared with other W124 models, and it shared its front disc brakes with the contemporary R129 SL. The steering damper was replaced in 2025.​

The cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black leather, along with a color-coordinated lower dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include automatic climate control, a Pioneer stereo, a power-adjustable steering column, dual front airbags, and cruise control. The brake light switch was replaced in 2024.​

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, an analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 103k miles. The tachometer and odometer gears were replaced in 2025.​

The 5.0-liter M119 DOHC V8 was factory rated at 315 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque. The coolant was changed in 2024, the throttle body was serviced, and the vacuum lines, distributor cap and rotor, and main fuel hose were replaced in 2025.​

​

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a rebuilt four-speed automatic transmission that was installed in September 2025. Additional work in 2025 included replacing the transmission mount, flex disc, and transmission cooler hoses. The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.​

That's too bad about the harness... I saw one owner, no accidents and got happy... seats don't look too bad to me... about the same condition as mine at 92k or so miles, but light grey hides a bit more than black leather in my opinion.

I see a bit more St. Louis than Vero Beach on that undercarriage though.

Sold for $39,500, with fees that's ~$41,500... about $45k all-in with TTTT.

There was strong support for the ~$30k ballpark. Two bidders pushed this up another 30%. It looked like a pretty nice car with decent history, I'm a little surprised there wasn't more support into the mid/upper 30's.
