This vehicle has been cherished by the same family since new. This vehicle has remained within the same household since its initial purchase. While a Carfax entry from December 2025 shows a "sale," this was an administrative title transfer to the owner's wife and does not represent a change in stewardship. The car is now offered by the owner’s son-in-law as the original owner is no longer able to drive.The car is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, running and driving perfectly.

A "minor damage" report on the Carfax stems from a curb impact several years ago; this was purely cosmetic and has been professionally repaired to factory standards, with the car now looking and driving as new.

Looks nice. Headliner is sagging but that's a small nit to pick.

The car has basically been parked for 15 years though, OR the odometer is intermittent. Note the photo shows a reading of 30,422... however there is an emission inspection test in 2024 reported at 30,422. Unless the odometer picture was taken DURING THE EMISSIONS TEST, I'm calling the odometer broken. Ditto for the car only moving 4 miles between the 2020 "curb impact", and the 2024 emissions test. Unlikely the car was trailered around.

So... TMU. YMMV, etc etc.

@Larwik - the only way to contact the seller is to have a Facebook account. You'll need to create one, OR find a friend / family member who has an account that can contact the seller for you.

As noted above, it is quite likely the odometer has been broken on this car for years, regardless of what the seller may claim. Actual miles may or may not be substantially higher than indicated. And, a low-mile car sometimes can have more deferred maintenance items vs a higher-mile car, so don't be surprised if there's $5k-$10k discovered in a PPI or shortly after purchase.

Besides the ridiculous vertical photos, I love the single pictire of the instruments, which only shows the TACHOMETER. Because yeah, every car buyer wants to see the tach, instead of the odometer... especially when the odometer is the most valuable item on the entire car. Makes you wonder if it still shows the same 30,422 that appeared in CA before transport to NY.

I fully agree. One should not underestimate the damage due to little / non usage. Revived mine last year after 12 years of storage: New fuel pumps, refurbishment of the fuel gauge (I think I posted the corrosion pictures in a different thread), rework the brakes, and some other stuff. Considering Daimlers love to NLA, depending on the parts, the costs are quite intense.

Having said this, I do think the interior looks like it could be a low milage car.

I've been saying this for 25 years about micro-mileage E500E garage baubles that go for $100K and more. They carry just as much deferred maintenance as much higher mileage cars --- but it's a different kind of deferred maintenance, because entire systems (brakes, fuel delivery & injection, etc.) need to be completely gone through and cleaned. That isn't trivial nor easy work, and should be done by someone who knows what they are doing.
