My daily driver is on the verge of being on the way out to make room for a new car. It has been mechanic owned and driven for the past 12 years. Harness was replaced a while back in addition to the throttle body, MAF, etc. Recent maintenance includes oil change, plugs, fuel filter, caps, rotors, ignition coils and insulator caps. Also included with the sale is a second set of summer/winter wheels.

Car runs but not well, it has a 'noisy' idle and lack of power (It does not have a cylinder miss/stumble) so will need to be towed to its final destination.

I'm either going to move the entire vehicle or part out enough to cover my latest round of expenses.

Let me know what questions you have.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks! Been an amazing car and I wish I could reset the mileage and buy a 124 new again. (I'm sure like everyone on this forum)

I want to ensure that the car/parts will go to the right place and not the dump.

AutoCheck can be viewed below just in case anyone needs it:

Thanks again!

Gatorblue92, I'll look at the wipers tomorrow. Cluster has all new bulbs as of last year and is 100% functional. Also, if I take the parts road, the replacements within the past year (so essentially new) included below as well as some other possible mentions worth noting. As of the past 4 years, the car was driven locally with an average of probably 2k per year.

Ignition coils [Bosch] (no miles)
Spark Plugs [Bosch] (no miles)
Insulator Caps [Bosch] (no miles)
Distributor Caps [Bosch] (1,000 miles)
Rotors [Bosch] (1,000 miles)
Clock Spring [Genuine OEM] (1,000 miles)
EGR Valve [Genuine OEM] (1,000 miles)
Radiator [Genuine OEM] (2,000 miles)

Steering wheel was refinished 2 years ago
Genuine OEM windshield is 3 years old
Burl wood shifter knob
Genuine OEM winter mats
Side mirror boots [Genuine OEM] were replaced a few years back but are in great shape. (these crack like crazy and aren't cheap to replace)
Intake boots were replaced and are also in great shape without the foam degradation that's usually persistent on the 95 and prior 119s

Updated Main harness
Updated Throttle body
5 year old MAF Sensor

Glad this isn't near me or I might have another parts car! :duck:

Just curious, how was the transmission working when it was last running & driving normally?

GLWS!

:strawberry:

Hi Luke,

Any parts in particular? Trying to get an idea of how much I can get out vs selling the entire car. (Also, do you have any interest in taking the car and parting it on your own?)

Thanks again!

I suggest parting it out will bring you considerably more than $700. Add to your list bumper impact strips, fan shroud, fan clutch, amps, B & C pillar trims, the scrapper will come pick it up when you are finished and pay you $150.
