Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time poster. This is a car I bought recently, I'm not a "flipper" but just someone who should've thought more before he made a purchase!

I paid $7000 for the car which is what Im hoping to get. I have to downsize my garage down to one car (I daily a 2000 Carrera 2) because work has been slow lately (I work freelance in the film industry). Had originally planned to do the headliner and seats at Thomas Tops in Hollywood with materials from GAHH. Sunroof was to come out along with the headliner so I was going to have that repainted at the same time, probably at a small shop called Zetino that has done good work for a good price in the past.

I replaced the front speakers with the "ESQ QXE 120" speakers, and put in a rebuilt 1692 radio from Germany Auto Radio in Burbank - along with a GROM bluetooth adapter (replaces CD plug with bluetooth connectivity). Sounds pretty good.

Previous owner had the car gone through and it runs pretty darn well, noticed no issues in my ownership. Needs new tires definitely (as well as some less ugly rims). Also this car has no ASR which is fun!

Hope someone on here can take care of this beauty, feel like this is a great community.

Why would buy this car originally for $7k? I recently passed up a similar car here in PNW for $1800 that had near perfect interior and the only substantial flaws on the exterior was a poor refinish of the drivers door and a chunk out of the front bumper. Car had fresh Michelins. Nice examples are still out there. GLWS
