The MB Market Insights
MKB Motoren Manufaktur is as authentic to AMG as it gets. Founded by original AMG member, Erhard Melcher, MKB provides the experience and expertise for building and maintaining the most desired and rare AMG's of old. Occasionally, MKB offers up vehicles from clients and collectors. Today, it's this authentic, early model W210 E60. AMG has made a name on big displacement, rear wheel drive sedans that are capable of keeping up with the quickest of sports cars on the road. In 1996, this E60 AMG was the top of the food chain and was the successor of the legendary AMG Hammer. The tried and true formula of a 6.0 V8 in the E-class will forever be a legend in the automotive world. This example began as an E50 which was standard for the 6.0 conversions by AMG. We especially love the extra euro-only options such as electric folding mirrors and heated rear seats. No matter how you cut it, trying to build your own E60 would cost far more than buying the real deal which, in our humble opinion, makes this a bargain buy for any Benz enthusiast. Sporting an AMG 6.0 stamped engine block, this is the pinnacle of AMG offering performance and German muscle, without sacrificing comfort or reliability.
