300hp per liter from Koenigsegg 3-cylinder

Wonder if that 2 liter, 3 cyl will fit in a 300CE, :detective: , might give the 500's a run eh? :gsxracer:

great post, fun stuff, new tech for internal combustion engines always welcomed...

Imagine that technology applied to a 5.0L M119, even at only 200hp/liter, that would be 1000hp. Mmmmm...

More about Gemera's amazing powertrain and the car:
The Gemera - Koenigsegg
I suggest the check the embedded Show Must Go On video from Geneva motor show and this video
The best parts (even it's nice to look that blonde 😋) in both videos are Mr Koeningsegg's explaination about rational behind the powertrain. Althought the car is extreme marginal car today, In my mind the future will like this. We won't have only electric cars that seems to be the one and only solution on the desk of policians at present. There will be plenty of different fuel combinations and optimized hybrid cars like Gemera.

EDIT: BTW there is "I'm intersted!" button in the web page.

Sorry to spoil the fun. It is an electric-ICE hybrid car. The horse power comes from the electric motors, which directly drive the wheels. The 2-l engine is only for charging, perhaps adding a little bit extra torque, but not 850 hp/liter.
