I have one in my storage shed somewhere, I'll look for it over the week-end, I had purchased it before I located the 500E cluster I needed, so I never had the chance to plug the 400E cluster in, therefore I can't vouch for the complete operation, gears etc.... if all it needs is new gears,,, $25 maybe to buy the 3 gears and install yourself.. If it were me I'd just put new gears in it anyway before you install, that's what I did with the 500E cluster. I didn't do it myself, I sent it out to the place Gerry recommended, Southern Electronics or something like that. There should be a reference to it in some repair threads. I'll get back to you by Monday
