500E Limo !!

Why not!! If it isn't Photoshop, gotta be 1 of 1. Besides, I always kinda wanted a 6-door, and most of them are grossly underpowered (not sure why MB did that to such a heavy vehicle).

:lolol:

Looks more like a livery car like Checker made for airport shuttles and funeral services. Not so much a limo as in a multiple row of seats sort of thing.

It’s the complete opposite of what an E500E is all about. Yuck!

The factory 6-door 124 was multiple seat rows all facing forward, not a "limo" in the sense we usually think of. Random pics below.

I have seen some Pullman variations though, like this one. I believe MB also sold a bare chassis to coach builders?

I think looks great! The question in my mind, is it real? Here is what I'm seeing:

Photoshop, combination of the front and rear doors pieced together as a middle section. Look at the pillar reflections (small yellow squares), to me identical), reflections in the large yellow squares - to me are also the same in this sections...

Next pic, small red squares, even a little "light" reflections are identical, large red squares, the shading/lighting on this sections the rear and front door claddings also near/identical? The driver's side interior roof line, why so crooked (red lines), finally, the little widow of the middle door, passenger side shape vs driver's side shape not matching?

That's what I'm seeing...?

Regards,
D

DV, I think you are right. Also, look at the driver side B-pillar. The angle seems wrong, and the driver side center doors appears to have a window nearly twice the proper size?

:scratchchin:

Dave, I was just looking at the same thing, driver's side door should appear smaller from this angle, but instead it appears longer than the passenger... Let's call it a "Nice try"? :detective:

I have been in a number of these 6 door 124 limo taxis during vacation at Cyprus. On my first visit back in 2005 the majority was V124, but the V210 has been counting so last year (2019) it was just a few left of the V124.

It was a nice photoshoped E500 clone in the first post :) but the roof profile on the V124 is different towards the rear end. It's hard to see on that image, but the roof is not that flat in the rear end on the V124, easy to see on the side view Dave posted in post #11.

6 door W124's were common funeral cars. I guess this one is for those who want to get it over and done with in a hurry.
