500Espot site traffic statistics

For those of you interested, I created a thread here for site traffic stats. Thought you might be interested to see how traffic has grown in recent months both with the closure of Scott's 500Ecstasy site, and organic growth too.

We're up to well over 400 users and this number is growing steadily. I think within a couple of months we'll be at 500+.

This graph shows traffic so far this month (at the half-way point). It's trending significantly higher than at this point last month, which was in and of itself higher than November.

All, in case you're interested to see recent statistics for the growth in site traffic, see below.

This was a 10% shorter month so Feb stats were a bit lower than they would typically be, but the daily stats are what's most interesting.

I am going to be staying in downtown SF later this month for almost a full week. I contacted Scott about getting together for some barley pops and he's in. I hope to discuss options and see what can be done about resurrecting 500X and hopefully combining it with our community here. Whatever happens with 500Ex though, my commitment to the community will not flag and if for some reason I have to move on, others will have "keys to the kingdom" to keep things running.

That data was from the original hosting company, Fatcow.com, and the original 500Eboard/500Espot forum software, phpBB. We migrated to vBulletin in 2012, and as you know used it until March of this year. We are now close to 8,500 members... I expect we'll hit that total next month.

I did get together back then with Scott Shell and Benny Lui for dinner. Benny didn't want to give up the hard drive/database containing the original 500Ecstasy forum data, as he said he was planning to reconstitute it. Eventually, some years ago, Scott (who still owns the 500Ecstasy.com domain) did forward the domain to 500Eboard.com (and now it's forwarded to our current 500Eboard.co/500Eboard.com domain).
