Hello all,
I was thinking last night of a way to make the 'Spot a bit more engaging and interesting for folks -- finding a way to let members talk about what is near and dear to them in the world of the E500E.
The idea I came up with was publishing brief interviews with individual members -- asking folks to answer 5 questions that explain their thoughts, passion, expertise, philosophy and knowledge about the interest we all have in common.
This would take the form of a 5-question Q&A that individuals (say one person per week) would answer via e-mail and would be posted under a new sub-board titled "500ESpot Interviews". Folks would be welcome to take as much time and space to answer the questions as they want -- but short/brief answers would not be acceptable. If the respondent wishes, they are welcome to include photographs and/or other illustrations.
Examples of questions could be:
When did you first learn of the E500E and what about it made you decide to pursue owning one?
What have you found to be the most difficult/trying aspect of E500E ownership? Be specific and provide example(s).
What are your opinions of the E500E market in terms of future value of the cars? What trends have you seen and/or do you expect to see in the E500E market?
Did you purchase your car as a collectible car or as an enthusiast car?
In terms of ownership, has the E500E fulfilled your expectations, particularly compared to other cars you have owned? Why or why not?
What particular area(s) of expertise do you feel you've developed with the E500E?
What tips or tricks of ownership would you share with your fellow E500E owners?
Thoughts? Concerns? Comments?
Cheers,
Gerry
