Yeah but... Mazda Miata??? And not the Honda S2000???

To be clear, I would think "neither" is the answer here, but whatevs.

Great way to publish a great article and destroy any shred of credibility that would make someone read it all in one fell swoop. Impressive.

Yeah, but to what?🤣

I just find the newfound cult following interesting. But so is every cult following.

I’ve had a Miata for 13 years and Miata as an acronym literally = Miata Is Always The Answer

In factory form they have a certain appeal, but modified cars really come alive on the venue people build them for.

They’ve come into new found popularity fairly recently but these cars have a huge following for a reason- they’re cheap and fun to drive and personalize..

Yeah, I see the E46M guys turning them into track cars and comparing them to E46M... which is what I call the nuevo cult following... but that always tells me they don't truly understand the E46M if they they think the acronym and the S2000 are suitable comparisons.

They can't afford to truly keep a Porsche or even a BMW M running the way it should (much less to turn it into a track car) so they want the Lotus Elan with Honda reliability instead -- I get it.

But I could always be wrong.
