Does anyone know this e500 for sale in CT?
I wonder why its "E500" badge is located slightly lower than its usual factory position. Respray? Personally, having its badge in a wrong place is a big turn off. For 25k mi @ $37k, I would want all original, like new paint condition with its badge in the original position.

Could be as simple as a previous owner de-badged the car, and someone later re-applied the badge in the wrong place. But more likely a re-spray, IMO. I agree, for that price, it better be factory perfect...

Maybe he thought it would look cool to lower the emblems, since people lower their cars he just started a new trend.
But then again the respray is most likely the case.

Perhaps our friend Jimbo (aka "FunfHundertE" on ecstasy) can help us out with this car, as he's a Connecticut resident, and it's such a small state (you can drive across it in about 20 minutes =) that he knows every E500E within a two-state radius ...
Jim ... ?

Noticed that I did not include the link:

VIN is listed.
Wondering if anyone has seen the car in person. Thanks.

Now being offered in ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercedes ... sQ5fTrucks
Their asking price dropped!!to 34k. Has anyone seen this car in person? E500 badging location is way too low and that's very suspicious.
