Annual W124 Germany Club, Bavaria, 14-16 June

arnt, you are right, it is that car. Bernhard told me that he is selling and rebuying the cars. And I am now the lucky next owner.

Jelmer, yes we can do but I might have a better idea. Did you participate already once at a drive with a lot of W 124 cars? In June there are the annual drives of the W 124 clubs in Germany. One has only members who are driving either W 124 convertible, coupe, or the V8 sedans, the other club allows all W 124 modells. I was already participating at bouth drives in the past. Can you imagine how your heart will pump when you see 50 W 124 cars on a parking or in a row, one more nice than the other? Maybe you or someone likes to join such a tour. If requested I can send links to the events this June. To get an idea what I mean, see these pictures which I made, by the way, the silver one with the flag was my old E 420. We have had a lot of fun:

We need to see a European E500E gathering of a 100 cars ! with all the cars in Europe can't you guys gather in one place..so much for EU, just more taxes !! j/k

the annual tour for the W 124 CC Club which has only members of the W 124 convertibles, coupes and V8 sedans will be from the 6. June - 9. June near Hamburg. Yes, I have to look how to do to open a new thread. I am sorry but I am a zero in IT topics.

Would be great if someone can join one of these wonderful tours. Even if already late it would be possible to get hopefully reservation in hotel and plate number for the tour. In case I can help to mediate.

hey Jelmer, congratulation for the upcoming highlight in your family but as well to join the tour. Means, we will meet then as I am registered as well. So you should contact the club soonest to register. Does someone else likes to join one of the tours as well?

It's not entirely sure how, when, how long, of course. I'll do my best to register tomorrow (since I assume you need to be a W124 club member to participate, right?).

As you might have read above: Arnt spoke about coming too. Who knows. If driving is too far, I already let him know he can fly over and join us

Jelmer, would be great and everyone else who likes to join. I think you can ask to join just for testing the club and don't need necessarily to be a club member. I have seen in both clubs newcomers who just joint the tour but getting afterwords a member most of the time. Thank you for helping again regarding splitting the thread. I agree completely to keep the other thread focussing on the E 60 topic.

I did already 8 annual tours with the 124 CC Club and already 7 annual tours with 124 Germany Club. And I did enjoying all tours especially when the weather was nice. It is fantastic when you see over a row of around 3 km only W 124 cars in best shape.
